The U11 Boys Rugby League Touch Grand Final was a fantastic event demonstrating the skill and determination from all 8 primary schools in attendance. Teams were split into two groups followed by semi-finals and a final plus a plate competition.
St Richards and Gillshill finished top of their groups and were joined by Eastfield and Ings primary school in the semi-finals. True to form, St Richards remained unbeaten in their 3-0 victory against a competitive Ings side. Eastfield set up a east hull vs west hull derby in the final by winning 2-0 against Gillshill in the other semi-final.
Eastfield took an early lead in the final and St Richards had to battle hard to overcome their strong defence. 2 tries resulted in a close fought St Richards victory to be crowned Hull Active Schools Rugby League Boys Champions!
